I plan to finish this eventually, but I did this in pen when I had some free time. My knowledge of anatomy is still off quite a bit, but I still tried!

How you drew their bodies is well done. Although the one with the purple hair and nipples...is main one I can see. As that one shows that you do know something about anatomy, and that is the gist of it. Although....except her left boob. It looks kind of pushed out of place unlike the other one. Maybe its just me but I think you should make it coming from her arm pit. Then it would be satisfactory.
I do, however, like how you did the colors here. As they seem to work with the picture. The blue seems to signify the ocean for the background aaand the blue mermaid has....blue color for hair. Or purple. o3o Now that I think about it, and look carefully.....I see blue. And black blended together...or just siding with it. Either way, they both look nice together. ^^ Well done job with these lovely mermaids.
